The family is understandably mourning the loss of their 14 year old child who had his whole life ahead of him.

The teenager was stabbed to death on College Road in Kingstanding on the 31st May 2021.

Further Charges in Murder
West Midlands police have charged two more teenagers with Dae Johns murder
This takes the total charged to five.
A 14-year-old boy from Wolverhampton and 16-year-old from Great Barr have been remanded in custody
They are due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow (7 June).
Another 14-year-old boy and two men – aged 35 and 38 – have already been at court and been further remanded.
The adults charged with his murder are George Khan and Michael Shields.
Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Mobberley, from our homicide team, said:

According to The Sun newspaper they said they understand police were supposed to arrange a meeting with Deajohn the day after last Wednesday’s Murder.
West Midlands Police says it has referred the case to the Independent Office for Police Conduct
This is because of previous engagement with the victim.
“As part of the investigation, officers are looking at previous incidents involving the victim and we have voluntarily referred the case to the IOPC.”
