The Abduction

This story happened back in May, but due to the serious nature of the accusations, i felt it was only right to wait for official charges to be brought against the suspect.

The suspect also lives locally and It wouldn’t have been fair to cause him problems if it had turned out to be a mistake.

But today 17.06 21 it is confirmed this is not the case and the 54 year old has been charged with abduction and assault of a 8 year old boy.

Outside His Home

The story started when a man was arrested on suspicion of child abduction after a boy was  taken into a property in Bartley Green.

This is said to have been at around 5pm (25 May).

Police understand the boy was outside his home address nearby, when he was approached by a man and taken to a property on Nailers Close.

The Child Escaped

The youngster was in the house for a short period of time before he managed to escape. He is understandably shaken and upset and is being supported by our specialist officers.

School Patrols

The Birmingham abduction has been described as a “isolated incident ” by police.
And this is the same response from police in London, where there have been a series of attempt abductions of school kids.
This has caused locals to take up their own “school patrols” to ensure kids make it to school safely.
I did a 17 minute in-depth report on the communities response on our YouTube channel.

Fighting Back

This recent news in Birmingham is even more disturbing when you hear the latest cases form London on the 16th June 2021.
My London newspaper reported,
“A schoolgirl bravely fought off a man who tried to drag her into a car in East London.
The young girl, who is just 15-years-old, is a student at Walthamstow Academy.
Dressed in her school uniform, she was walking alone at around 8.37am on Wednesday (June 16) on North Countess Road not too far from the school.”

Approached On Way To School

As she was paying attention to the road ahead, she noticed a car driving slowly, which then stopped as a man got out and approached her.
She was able to fight off the perpetrator as he grabbed her before he then got back into the car and drove off.
Police were immediately called to the scene where the girl was, fortunately uninjured.

Wanted Suspect

The car was described as a white five-door Kia and dirty with muddy tyres.
The unknown male is described as an Asian male, approximately 20 years old, short black hair, medium build and approximately 6ft.
He was wearing a grey t-shirt, dark blue jeans, black trainers and a black face mask.

School Warning

Walthamstow Academy principal, Emma Skae, issued an email to parents and carers describing the incident and preventative measures to be taken.

She wrote: “As parents we live in fear of something like this happening to our child.
“Please speak to your children about safety on the road as this parent had done with her daughter – remind your children to be vigilant.
She went on to say to not use their phones, to not have headphones in and to be aware of their surroundings.
She wrote: “As parents we live in fear of something like this happening to our child.
I feel completely shaken’:\

Playground Report

Meanwhile on the same day in South London.

A man was spotted masturbating in the bushes of a children’s playground in South London on Wednesday (16 June).
The man was seen at around 6.10pm in the bushes of Chivalry Road playground, on WandsworthCommon.
Mother, Olesia Jezova who witnessed the pervert told My London Newspaper,
“I feel completely shaken and feel sick thinking about it.

“I was with my two small kids and really did not expect to see that.
“I tried to distract them and take them away so they didn’t see it. The kids could have easily wandered off by themselves to the bush.”

What is being done ?

Local parents have spoken of their outrage at hearing this news, which was posted on neighbourhood app NextDoor.
They said: “This is seriously shocking” and “My son likes to explore the bushes in that playground for sticks. I will have my eyes on stalks watching out even more.

Taken Serious?

The Met Police’s response to recent concerns has been
“Police fully understand the concerns from parents and residents in Southwark
and we would like to reassure the community that all reports of this nature are taken very seriously indeed.
“Fortunately, incidents of child abduction are very rare, and we can confirm that no reports relating to child abductions have been received.”
Metropolitan Police therefore “respectfully” asked the community to refrain from engaging in speculation, which can “unnecessarily increase the fear of crime and cause great upset amongst our communities.”
Understandably people want answers to what there has been a increase in these cases in major cities.
With lockdown easing and more people out and of course that will mean more perverts too.
Stay safe and keep watching and supporting the channel.
Peace.
