Walsall targeted shooting

Police are appealing for information after shots were fired at a property in Birchills, Walsall, last night (17 July).

It happened in Pargeter Street at around 11.50pm, fortunately no one was injured.

It’s currently thought to be a targeted attack, however detectives and local officers are working hard to understand more about what happened and why.

We understand how frightening this is for those involved and for people nearby.

Incidents like this are rare and we’re doing all we can to find those responsible as firearms have no place on our streets.
