Detectives investigating the death of a 21-year-old man in Eltham have charged three people with his murder.
19 (18.10.02), of Greenwich [B], and a 16-year-old boy [C] are due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 12 February, charged with murder.
Officers begun a murder investigation following the death of Bartosz Wyrzykowski – known as Bartek – in Eltham on Tuesday, 8 February.
Police were called at 17:11hrs to reports of a stabbing in Lionel Road, SE9. Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found Mr Wyrzykowski with stab wounds.
He was treated at the scene and taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
His next of kin continue to be supported by officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
A post-mortem examination carried out at Greenwich Mortuary on Friday, 11 February, gave his cause of death as a stab wound to the pelvis.
+ A 21-year-old woman [D] and a 17-year-old girl [E] have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. They have subsequently been bailed pending further enquiries.
