Instagram model & her mother charged with double murder in Leicester crash deaths

She is one of three women are charged with murdering two men named in court today as Mohamed Hashim Ijazuddin and Saqib Hussain after their car burst into flames on A46 after crashing.

The two men were pronounced dead at the scene of a crash on the A46, police confirmed tonight. 

An investigation was launched on Friday, February 11, after the collision occurred close to the Six Hills junction in the early hours of the same day.

Two men, who had been travelling in a silver Skoda Fabia which left the carriageway, were pronounced dead at the scene, Leicestershire Police has previously confirmed.

Natasha Akhtar, 21, of Alum Rock Road, Birmingham, Ansreen Bukhari, 45, and Mahek Bukhari, 22, both of George Eardley Close, Stoke have now been charged with murder, a force spokesperson said this evening.

Leicestershire Police has confirmed after initial inquiries that two other cars were reported to have been travelling in the area at the same time of the collision – a grey Audi TT and a blue Seat Leon.

Officers have also arrested two men aged 21 and 27, from Leicester, on suspicion of murder. 

The men are currently in police custody, the force confirmed in a statement tonight.

A 20-year-old man who was arrested on Friday, on suspicion of murder, has since been released from police custody. He is to face no further police action, the force statement added.

Officers were called to the scene on Friday at around 1.30am, where one car had crashed through the central reservation. 

One vehicle is also believed to have burst into flames.

The three women charged with murder are due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Tuesday, February 15.

All were remanded in custody and are due to appear before a judge at Leicester Crown Court tomorrow, (Wednesday, February 16).
