Norfolk

It has now been confirmed that the teenager was from Norfolk.

Now if we go to Norfolk and check their recent news we see there has also been recent stabbings.

Stabbing

Solomon Oguidi, 20, formerly of Bowers Avenue, Mile Cross, has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of a knife.

It follows an incident where police were called to a property in Chambers Road, Mile Cross, at just after 9pm on January 9, 2021, to reports that a man had been stabbed

Oguidi has denied both offences and is due to stand trial at Norwich Crown Court on Monday, January 23.

The defendant was not present for a pre-trial review on Thursday (January 19), prompting the court to try and arrange for Oguidi to be brought to court later in the day or on Friday (January 20).

Drugs

Drugs worth an estimated £2.2m have been taken off the streets of Norfolk in the last year thanks to specialist police teams targeting the county’s roads.

In the last 12 months from 1 January to 31 December 2022 officers from Operation Moonshot have made close to 1,000 arrests targeting criminals using the road network, and seizing substantial amounts of drugs and cash.

JOE DIX

One of three teens accused of the murder of an 18-year-old said he saw the victim attack one of his friends.

Hans Beeharry, 19, together with his friends Benjamin Gil, 19, and Cameron Palmer, 18, have gone on trial at Norwich Crown Court accused of the murder of Joe Dix.

Mr Dix died of stab wounds after being attacked in Vale Green, Mile Cross shortly before 7pm on January 28 last year.

Prosecutors believe Mr Dix was set upon shortly after leaving his nearby flat by a group connected to the “world of drugs”.
