A murder investigation has been launched following a stabbing in Ladbroke Grove.
Police were called at approximately 17:45hrs on Sunday, 25 June to reports of a male in the canal by Scrubs Lane, W10 suffering a stab injury.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene.
A 17-year-old male was pulled from the water. However, despite the efforts of the emergency services he was pronounced dead at the scene at 18:10hrs.
His next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 28 June.
A crime scene remains in place.
