Police are investigating following a firearms discharge in Southbourne Avenue, Ward End at just after 11.10pm yesterday (3 Dec).
Officers attended and found damage caused to a car and the wall of a property.
Fortunately nobody was injured.
Police are reviewing CCTV footage in the area as well as conducting house to house enquiries.
Patrols have been stepped up in the area to offer reassurance to local residents and the wider community.
